If your are looking
for a private and healthy environment not too far from the
hectic city of Rome, where one day you can relax in the sun
and in the pool and another day you can explore the beauties
of the eternal city just a train ride away from our cottage!
Visit the Vatican Museums in the morning and relax in the
swimming pool in the afternoon without having to take your
car. An urban train leaves from Cesano to the Vatican city.
Also if you are looking for a historical adventure, explore
the many Mediaeval and Etruscan towns in the surrounding area.
If you are looking for some absolute relax, the lakes will
be your best choice (Anguillara, Trevignano, Bracciano are
marvellous towns located around the lake of Bracciano)!
Our cottage can also be used as a basis to make a one-day
trip to Florence or to Naples. You will take a nice break
in the pool the next day!
The cottage, built in 2003, is part of the Testa's family
property. The cottage is located in a 10.000 sqm. property
along with a larger guesthouse that the owners use as a second
home.
Both the guesthouse and the cottage are used to host our family
(the former) and our guests (the latter) and provide them
with all the comfort they may require (there is a large patio
in the guesthouse which the owners may want to use to provide
guests with welcome drinks or cocktails upon arrival) also
the property is a reference point for our guests as one of
the family will always be around upon demand to provide instructions,
help and supervision is so required (we can also take our
guests to Rome on a "fist-time" tour or propose
the best itineraries and amenities, as well as work out sightseeing
itineraries, recommend restaurants and routes on a daily basis.
The property is provided with an orchard with fruit trees
and vegetables. Sometimes guests will find a bowl of fruits
and vegetables in front of the cottage door in the morning
to be used for their breakfast or main meals (plums, apricots,
or salad, tomatoes, aubergines, courgettes, French beans,
etc).
We are well served by public transports (bus and urban train)
to go down to Rome (1.5 km). Also grocery, butcher, laundrette,
general shops are 500 m far from the cottage. Two malls 5
minutes drive. The Olgiata Golf Club (18 holes), one of the
oldest and most famous in Italy, is 5 minutes drive from our
house.
Distance from other (18 holes) Golf Courses: Le Querce (Sutri
20km), Marco Simone (30km), Acquasanta Golf Club (40km). The
countryside north of Rome is best known for its beautiiful
lakes (Bracciano, Martignano, Nepi among others) and Etruscan
landscape. |
